Oral surgery and Medicaid is a joke!?

My dentist pulled out a wisdom tooth last year that was growing in sideways. Unfortunately, the root is still there after all this time, and it's gotten infection at least three times now. What can I do if the oral surgeon accidentally left part of my wisdom tooth in after extraction?
