What do oral surgeons do?
i know they work with the mouth, and can pull wisdom teeth out, but what else can they do? It seems they are limited to only FMTE, which i guess is pulling wisdom teeth out?

Oral surgeons do root canals?
I had a tooth that was like broke in half with a cavity and my dentis filled it anyways. Well now a year later it just started to hurt. So i went to another dentist and he said just from the looks of it i need a root canal. Should i get a root canal or get it pulled? I want to go to an oral surgeon so i can get put to sleep tho can they do that to give me a root canal?

Mine are infected.. and it's awfully painful.

What is it like being a student at the University of Iowa?
Well I saw at my oral surgeons office a diploma from the university of Iowa and I am also thinking of becoming an oral surgeon. I also am looking at colleges because I just graduated highschool. Wisdom teeth need to come out! experienced oral surgeons/dentists please?
